Description:This is a charming English Regency c.1825-30 papier mache tray table. The tray has had a couple of minor restorations to the rim as shown in the photos, but is in otherwise, good condition. The 20th c. iron stand provides a modern counterpoint to the antique papier mache tray. The tray is detailed with mother-of-pearl, gilt decoration and a center miniature painting. There is slight wharping to the tray in a couple of spots.
