This is an outstanding pair of Michael Taylor for Baker "Far East Collection" lamp tables. The tables are very generous in size and would be perfect along side a large mid-20th c. sofa or even as coffee tables between a pair of sofas. The tables have been relacquered in black, leaving the gorgeous satinwood inlaid tops in a natural finish. Michael Taylor's Far East Collection dates to the late 1950's/early 1960's; these pieces were designed and constructed to the highest standards and have stood the test of time. They are just as beautiful and style-forward today as 60+ years ago.
