Description:
This is a very well-painted, though unsigned, English landscape that dates to the Post-Impresionist period, early 20th c.  I love the way that the artist captures the light in the scene...what a beautiful day for a walk! The painting seems to be an open invitation to embark on the path. We have had the painting professionally cleaned. There is one small patch to the back of the canvas.
