Description:This a late 19th or early 20th century European Post Impressionist Landscape painting. Although this painting is unsigned, it bares all of the trademarks of being executed by a very competant and trained artist: the palette work, use of light and shadow, the perspective are all excellent. Note the movement of the clouds and the low horizon. The measurements listed are those of the painting without its wide gold frame. At some point the canvas was glued to board in the European manner of relining. Otherwise, the painting is in good condition. Thanks for visiting.
