Description:
This is a unique pair of prototype klismos form chairs attributed to the famous Memphis design group. Although the chairs are not marked, the unique avant-garde design details including forged and tubular chromed steel, modified klismos form and exaggerated, almost biomorphic, leg form make them standouts of experimental design. As can be seen in the photos of the reverse of the chair seats showing the added on wood support, these are not production-ready chairs.
