This is a superb pair of late 19th c./early 20th c. beautifully inlaid Syrian barrel back chairs. The chairs are further detailed in a multitude of spindles, moorish arches and fine bone inlay throughout. The barrel back form of these chairs is unusual; barrel back chairs of all styles are always very desirable. The chairs have been newly upholstered in a fine minty-sage mohair velve and Clarence House Silk. The quality and condition of these chairs is eceptional.
