Description:
This is a stunning pair of c. 1980s large Murano scavo amphora vases attributed to Karl Springer for Seguso. The pair is detailed in applied handles with the signature scavo finish which was an emulation of archaic roman glass. Karl Springer designed several semilar scavo glass pieces, but these are not signed. The vases are in overall very good condition with one vases showing a small chip/flake to upper rim.
