Description:
This is a great (and perfect) pair of John Keal for Brown & Saltman chests of drawers in teak that date to the early 1960's (perhaps late 1950's?). The chests are beautifully designed with a true mid-century aesthetic and highlighted by the beautifully figured and book matched teak, modernist blackened backplate with a nickel-plated drop, and beautifully shaped front feet. Both chests are in excellent condition and the finish shown in the photos is original and as found. Pairs of chests are very difficult to find and in this condition, almost never. The chests are sold as a pair. Thanks for visiting.
