Description:
This is a wonderful pair of Chinese export blue & white late Ching vases, c. 1880, that have been newly fitted with top of the line brass electrical element and silk wrapped cord. The lamps have been French wired without drilling the porcelain bases to preserve the integrity of the bases. The height to the top of the porcelain bases is 16.25; the total height is adjustable to 30" to accommodate all shades. The two porcelain vases are the same size, shape and pattern, but are not identical. One vases has an invisible repair. One vase shows the period ash marks from wood-fired kilns.
