This is an outstanding pair of circa 1950's Billy Haines-inspired pull-up chairs in a Hollywood Regency style. The form of these chairs is a riff on the traditional klismos chair--note the out-swept curving legs and curved back that has acquired an exagerted up sweep. An unusual detail is the absolutely round and very generous seat. These super chic chairs have just come back from the upholsterer and are tailored in a high-end figured chenille fabric that perfectly compliments the moderne design of the chairs.
