Description:
This is a superb pair of c. 1880-1920 French Faux Bamboo Beds. The beds are in exceptionally good condition for their age and use. One of the beds is slightly lighter, most probably due to more sun exposure. One bed has been adapted to the notched assembly; the other has the more typical bolt assembly. It is very unusual to find a pair of matched bedsteads, especially in this highly desirable form.
