Description:
This is a wonderful pair of iconic and highly decorative Chinese late 19th c. elm and bamboo horseshoe chairs. The chairs are in excellent overall condition with a very minor loss to the cane wrap on the edge of one chair. These chairs feature a five-bar bamboo seat and currently are upholstered in vintage slamon velvet. It is unusual to encounter chairs of this form and this condition.
