Description:
This is an unusual pair of 18th century Swedish side chairs. The chairs feature "spurs" to the sides of the crest rails and smaller spurs on the carved "sassy" back splats. The chairs have been stripped, with off white paint remaining on their under sides. The caned seat frame could be an old 18th century modification, the caning remains in very good condition.
