Description:
This is a great pair of late 18th c. Provincial Louis XVI period side chairs. The chairs were original painted in a French gray and over their nearly 250 years of life have acquired a deep natural patina and rich texture. The chairs have been professionally tightened and newly upholstered in a fine 100% Belgium raw linen with undertones of silver which perfectly complements the wood surface.
