Description:
This a beautiful painting of an African-American woman reading in front of a window. This painting dates to the early 20th c. and is in a post-impressionist style. Although the painting is unsigned, it was painted by a skilled artist as can be seen in use of light, painting of the clothing and theme. There are a few areas of paint loss, otherwise the painting is in reasonably good original condition. Thanks for looking.
