Description:
This is a charming set of 10 Nautilus Shell bowls that date to c. 1960 (I think). These bowls must have been shaped from quite large nautilus shells, probably 7" to 8" in size. Comparable shells of this size retail for about $30-$35 each. The bowls are polished inside and out and exhibit beautifull deep nacre. The bowls can be used as individual cold soups, appetizers or even sauces. They would be great with sushi, too.
