Description:
This is best of the best of this type of antique 19th century American Federal or Sheraton child table. The table was created c. 1820-30 of figured maple in a classic Late Federal or Sheraton form of drop leaf table. The legs are beautifully turned of figured maple and the drop leaves are proportionate for a child table. This is not an example of a cut down table. The table appears to be in excellent original condition; the underside is as pristine as the top. Children's furniture is highly collectible and this piece merits a place in a top collection of children's antique furniture.
