Description:
This a stunning example of a large mid-century c.1950-60 Steuben footed bowl. In the 1930's Corning Glass (who had acquired Steuben) created the new glass formulation 10M which allowed for the full light spectrum to flow through the glass. 10M allowed Steuben to create art glass with amazing clarity and refraction. In the 1950s Steuben embraced modern design using 10M in its best artistic expressions. This large piece was design by Donals Pollard; it is in excellent condition and impressive in size.
