Description:
This is a stunning early 20th century Meiji/Showa woven bronze Isubato for Ikebana. The Isubato is in excellent condition with perfect original bronze patina. The perfection of the minimalist zen form of the vessel requires no added ornamentation. The isubato mimics the expected fine bamboo weaving of Ikebana baskets.
