This is one of the most highly desirable lithographs by Carol Jablonsky (1935 - 1992) that dates to c. 1975. Carol Jablonsky is a well-listed mid-century American artist who was educated at Boston University, the Art Student's league of New York City and The Art Institute of San Miguel Allende, Mexico. Jablonsky was renown for her use of multi-cultral symbolism, she drew inspiratian from Roman frescoes, medieval book illuminations, Mexican mythology, Eastern philosophies and religions and The Bible. In the "Garden of Eden" series Jablonsky reached her peak of research and symbolic interpretation. The folio is numbered 70/300 and is in excellent condition (it has not been examined outside of the frame). The double mat and framing are of the highest quality. PLEASE excuse the light refraction on some of the photos--I'll retake these shortly.
