This is a very decorative Italian terracotta stool in the form of a turtle or tortoise. The stool dates to circa 1980 and is in very good to excellent condition. Although intended for garden use, he would make a wonderful beside-the-tub stool. In Japanese culture, the tortoise symbolizes longevity, good luck and support. Incised "Made in IT" on bottom.
