Description:
Superb 19th Century Italian carved and gilt small sofa or settee. The sofa retains its original gold leafed surface which has acquired a deep natural patina over its many years of life. The sofa is newly upholstered in the coveted Clarence House "Zebra" Belgium Linen. The cushion is wrapped in down and feather and further detailed in nail heads (thousands of them).
