This is a very good example of a late 18th/early 19th century Swedish Gustavian bench or stool. The bench retains it's original patinated chalky white surface and gilt detailing. The frame is in overall very good to excellent condition and is newly upholstered in a fine Clarence House velvet and brass nail heads.
