Description:
This is an unusual French Regence Bibliotheque or bookcase. This fine oak bookcase dates to c. 1720-30 and is excellent condition. The oak retains its original wax surface; there is normal shrinkage to the side panels which is a true indication of its age. The interior was lined in a blue & white toile in the mid to late 20th c.
