Description:Adorable pair of mid-20th c. ceramic elephant garden seats or tabourets. These charming elephants have an intense green and gold coloration and are cast in high relief. Their elongated and highly sculpted trunks and tusks are uncommon and enchanting with the exaggerated twist to their trunks. Their saddles are also well sculpted with raised drapery. There are a few chips as seen in the photos and there is a mold fault at the crown of one head. Otherwise, they are in great vintage condition. These guys would be perfect indoors or out and would add character to any space. Priced as a pair. (Please note: these are not new modern reproductions; they date to the mid 20th c.)
