Description:
This is a superb Henredon ebonized Chest of Drawers or Buffet that dates to c. 1950-60. This 12-drawer chest is in excellent overall condition and appears to retain its original ebony finish which has been polished; there are a couple of very small restorations. The mid-century handles feature polished copper and walnut. Asian design influences are evident, but this piece lies firmly within the American mid-century design aesthetic.
