Description:
Wonderful collection of early 20th c. Ex-votos or "Milagros." I believe that these little plaques were made in Italy and were commonly attached to figures of saints by a petitioner when praying for divine invention. The collection is composed of 13 silver and 2 brass ex-votos. The sizes vary. The ex-votos are highly decorative--they could be individually framed and hung as a group (maybe Christmas Tree ornaments ?). Thanks for looking.
