This a beautiful example of a 19th c. Chinese Coromandel Screen panel. The black lacquer panel depicts detailed scenes of Chinese life painted in gold. The panel was most probably formed part of a larger screen; it is currently displayed in a complementary black lacquer frame and is ready for hanging. The panel is in excellent condtion.
