Description:This is a great early 1970s black lacquer and acid etched brass chest of drawers by noted artist Bernhard Rohne for Mastercraft. The chest, as shown in the photos, is in unrestored original condition and is on its way to be brought up to snuff. There is minor loss to the patina of the brass panels on the top surface of the chest and a scrape to the lacquer on the back of the chest. All other elements are in excellent original condition.
The chest is very elegant and an iconic piece of 1970s art furniture and would make an excellent addition to a post-1950s room design. Thanks for visiting.
