This is a gorgeous and unusual early 19th century, Chinese Faux Bamboo altar table that was originally lacquered in a very deep brown. Over its lifetime, the table has acquired a rich deep natural patina. The table is long and narrow and could be installed in a hallway as well as used as a sofa table or other location.
