Description:
This is a late Anglo-Raj Indian carved and caned long bench that dates to the mid-20th century, possibly somewhat later. The bench has a beautiful ebonized frame with carved William IV-style legs and caned seat. The bench is in very good overall condition, a tufted cushion would add a couple of inches of height and make the bench pop. The bench measures a full 72 inches, making it a perfect fit for the end of a king size bed.
