Description:This is a little gen of an early 19th c. Venetian petite secretaire that has all of the bells and whistles, even considering its very diminuative size.
The secretaire is in an overall original untouched condition. The secretaire is constructed with dovetaills and "square hand-made" nails. A key is available. There are the expected losses to the painted surface showing that this pieces of furniture has been well-loved. All of the original elements are still present with the exception of one drawer pull and a couple of very minor losses to the "cubbies" which take the place of the middle drawer. The Venetian blue is spectacular and beuatifully detailed in floral sprays throughout.
