Description:This is a superb example of a Northern Italian mid-18th c. walnut games table that is finely detailed with marquetry and penwork. The table has had minor restorations over its nearly 300 years of life, but retains all of its original elements. The original surface and patina has been preserved with minor restorations to a bit of the marquetry. A sign of the craftman's attention to detail is the
application of both marquetry and penwork to the back of the table which is usually left plain. Please
