Vintage Fornasetti Fabric "Libreria" Pattern
This is a fantastic find—-about 2.5 yards of vintage Fornasetti Silk Fabric in the “Libreria” patern dated 1961. This design was created by Pierro Fornasetti (1913 -1988) and the fabric was printed during his lifetime, making it more desirable. The yardage is in excellent condition having been stored for over 50 years.
We will be creating custom pillows from this fabric.MJH DESIGN ARTS haS over 15 years of experience creating pillows from antique and vintage (pre-1980) Fortuny Fabric of which we have a large collection. Our pillows are created to the highest standards—-each one is designed with specially chosen silk backing fabric and a mini-welt. The fillers are custom made with a blend of 30% goose down to 70% goose feather; the percentage of down to feather ensures that the pillows maintain their structure, protecting the fabric while being luxurious.
