Set of Three Chinese Blue & White Porcelain Vases, Early 20th Century

$2,120.00

This is a nice collection of Chinese Blue & White Porcelain Vases that most probably date to the Republic period (early 20th century). All three vases are finely decorated in traditional chinese porcelain motifs. The largest vase (18"h x 12"dia) is finely painted in a delicate cherry blossom and bird motif. The second vase (17.5"h x 9"dia) is painted in a traditional Chinese landscape. The third and smallest (16"h x 9"dia) of the three vases is painted in the traditional Chinese "Three Friends" pattern of pine, cherry blossom and bamboo. All three vases are in overall very good condition with traces of patina.

**Chinese blue and white porcelain dates to the 13th century. Chinese blue and white porcelain (qinghua) features underglaze cobalt-blue designs on a white ceramic body. Perfected during the Yuan and Ming dynasties, it became a highly sought-after global luxury. Today, this timeless artistry remains a celebrated centerpiece for traditional and eclectic interior designs.
