Pair 19th Century Italian Carved Alabaster Tazza

$3,550.00

This is a stunning pair of antique 19th century Italian Alabaster Tazze carved in a water lily-inspired form. The Tazza is supported by a stepped plinth and socle. These tazze show a deep rich natural patina which only adds to their beauty. There is overall age yellowing and the tazze exhibits minor small chips and "flea bites" as part of their patina. One of the socles has a restoration which does not detract from the beauty or utility of the piece. Both tazze have a small hole drilled in one petal.
