Marc Wroe Turned Turquoise-Inlaid Wood Vessel, II
This is a beautifully elaborated and finely carved Burl vessel that has been polished to a satin smoothness and inlaid with turquoise by the listed Arizona Artist, Marc Wroe. The vessel is artist signed and dated 4/1994. The beauty of the piece speaks for itself. The vessel dates to the late 20th century and is in very good original condition. Marc Wroe captures the soul of the carefully selected woods that he works. These contemporary works seem to unify the disparate cultural heritages of the Southwest: Native American and Spanish Colonial together with the encroaching American settlers. A couple of coats of hard paste wax have been applied to heighten the natural beauty of the vessel. We have listed two additional Marc Wroe vessels separately. Please contact MJH Design Arts for pricing if you desire to purchase all three vessels.
