Louis XV-Style Bureau Plat or Desk

This is a great example of a 20th century Provincial Louis XVI Bureau Plat. The desk features a solid walnut frame with an inset leather writing surface. The desk is finished on the opposing side with false drawers and identical hardware. The impressive masculinity of the desk makes it the perfect fit for a large library or executive office. The walnut frame and leather surface are in excellent patinated condition and are ready to get to work.
