This is a large 19th century French Brass Bistro Mirror. The mirror is in overall very good original condition featuring an antique plate mirror with a narrow bezel. The wide brass frame is in very good original condition with wonderful light patina. The mirror plate is also in very good condition with just a bit of foxing. Large Bistro Mirrors in this condition are very desirable as they can be used in a multitude of settings--from contemporary or mid-century designed rooms to period rooms. They work beautifully in bedrooms to living and dining spaces to bathrooms. And these mirrors can be hung either vertically or horizontally--in other words, they are just about the perfect mirror.
