French 3-Part Bronze & Glass Coffee Table

This is a beautifully fabricated 3-part gilt bronze or brass coffee table. The main section of the table measures 18.5"h X 37.5"w X 19.75"d; the two smaller tables measure 17.5"h X 16"d. When fully extended, the coffee table measures 69" wide. The two smaller tables were designed to slide under the ends of the main table and extend when a larger coffee table is needed. All of the bronze elements are finely manufactured; the reeded legs are supported by refined cast feet. The tops of the tables feature canted corners; the glass tops are banded in silver eglomise. The cross stretchers of the two smaller tables are center by a cast bronze acorn finial; the main table has side stretchers with a central stretcher bar. All elements of this very refined large coffee table appear to be original and are in very good condition. There is one small blemish/tarnish to the silver band which does not lower the beauty or value of the table, but is a testament to the age of the. table.
