These chests are an outstanding example of Paul Frankl (perhaps Modernage) furniture dating from the late 1940 period. These chests of drawers are in excellent condition. The drawers fronts retain their original "combed" surface; the cases have been newly lacquered in a multi-coat piano lacquer (their original surface).
