Description:
This is a handsome English-style heavy brass planter or foot bath manufactured by Chapman and dating to the late 1970-1980 time frame. The top quality brass and construction of the planter is evident from the photos; the handles (not included in the measurements) are of high quality solid cast brass; the rim is rolled; and the bottom is finished. The are no markings to the planter. This piece would serve as the perfect container for iced drinks/wine/champagne on a generous bar--super eye catching. As can be seen, the brass on the inside and on the bottom has acquired a great patina. Thanks for visiting.
