Beautiful large pen and ink drawing by well listed American artist, Robert M. Cunningham (1924 - ). Robert Cunningham is a distinguished illustrator whose list of nationally recognized clients and awards is too numerous to list. He taught at Pratt Institute and was the sole designer of the 1980 Summer and Winter Olympic U.S. postal stamps. This drawing dates to the time that he spent in Eleuthera, Bahamas in the early 1990s. His work which arose from this period was the subject of several gallery shows, including shows at Randall Tuttle Fine Arts, Woodbury, Connecticut, the New York Historical Society, and Lustare Gallery, New York. This drawing was executed during the Cunningham Eleuthera period.
